Many people specifically women are conscious to their image, their figure, their fashion and over all appearance. Obesity has been a social issue that sparks debate among women of different colors and races. Because of it, many women enrolled in gyms and other health clubs to ensure that they remained physically fit. Some engaged themselves in a strict diet in order to maintain their weight. Counting calories is important in order to keep track of the daily consumption and intake of foods in their bodies.

Weight loss programs are also a trend. They offer different fitness programs to cater the different mass and calorie loss of women.  Programs like dance classes, Zumba dancing, Pole Dancing, Inflatable balls and other equipment necessary to lose weight. Gone are the days when you have to work your butt off in the gym just to achieve that curvy, booty figure. Calories are now being watch by these women who to keep track of their size and waist measurements.

A calorie is an amount of needs to raise a temperature of 1 kilogram of water by 1 degree Celsius. It is a measure of energy.  You use the calories that you eat and drink, to sustain the fundamental functions of such as thinking, breathing and day-to-day activities like walking, running, talking and eating. Burning calories contributes to a sudden weigh loss of the body. Remember that when you eat more calories than you burn, you would gain weight. Counting calories can track your intake of eating foods rich in calories and lessen them once you realized that you are over your required amount.

How Many Calories You Should Eat?
The calories that we need depend on our age, gender, weight and the activity you are doing throughout a day. In figures, a very active male that exercise regularly needs more calories than a male who just sit in the couch for an entire day.

If you want to lose weight, you need to create a calorie deficit by eating less foods that what your body burns.
